J.Crew Annual Summer Sale!

Its that time of year again.

The J. Crew Annual Summer Sale!

Everything in the store is 25% off and 30% off when you open a J.Crew Card.

So I scored some good finds at J. Crew this weekend. Finally got two new pairs of the infamous Chino shorts for $15 each, instead of the regular price of $45. WHAT A DEAL!

I'm hoping to return to J. Crew and pick up a pair of mint green shorts and white shorts.

Outfits of the Weekend⎢June 8th & 9th

On Saturday, my mom and I went out shopping for some retail therapy after I had to take the ACT Testing. So here is what I wore on Saturday. 

As seen in my "Summer Loves" post, the wide leg tribal print Target pants are my obsession. 

They are possibly the comfiest pants I have ever worn, it felt like I was wearing pajamas.  

Another plus is that the fabric is very light, you would think when you look at them that they are heavy, but no they are the exact opposite. 

Target has done it again.

I also sported these gladiator studded sandals from the Sam & Libby Collection. Everyone must check this out, AH-mazing collection.

I paired these pants with a simple plain white tee from Target. 

On Sunday, I attended church with my family and decided to bring out one of my favorite high-lo dresses from Forever 21.

This dress fits great and is very comfortable too. 

One thing I really love about this dress is that you can easily dress this up and also dress it down for every occasion. 

Necklace is from Forever 21, the love the design and shape, I wear this necklace with just about everything haha.

My Shop Diary #1: Lotus Boutique

So today's post, I am raving and obsessing over my new favorite store, the Lotus Boutique. 

Today I went shopping with my mom and we discovered this store in the mall. 

As soon as I stepped inside I knew I was going to fall in love with everything. 

And in fact I did, I literally wanted to buy the entire store haha. 

Anyways, this boutique has a mix of preppy style and hipster style clothing and it is all reasonably priced which is a definite plus. 

The staff was so sweet too, maybe it was just my store but they were such funny ladies and helped me choose some great outfits too.

The Lotus Boutique has an online store, you all should definitely check it out, I know I will.

My Summer Loves

Now that Summer is here, I have put together a list of nine of my favorite summer necessities.

1. It Girl Tee

This tee just screams me.

 When I saw it, I literally thought that Forever 21 made this for me.

 If you have not caught the joke, "It Girl" is my Blog Name and also my Youtube Name, but I spell mine a smidge differently. 

Plus, I can never get enough of Forever 21's graphic tees.

2. Tribal Lounge Pants

Possibly the most comfortable pair of pants I own. 

I love these because you can easily dress these up for a nice dinner and pair them with some classic wedges or you can easily dress them down and pair them with some casually sandals for a night at the beach. 

3. Essie Cute As A Button

If you are looking for a perfect summer nail polish, well I have found one for you.

Essie's Cute As A Button Nail Polish is a great peach/ pink color that brings a beautiful color to your nails. 

4. Ruffle Bikini's

Since I am an aquarius, it seems just right for me to love the water. 

Buying swimsuits is indeed a guilty pleasure of mine. 

Target by far has my favorite selection of swim suits.

The prices are pretty reasonable too.

The ruffle bikini trend is taking over. I think these are extremely flattering tops on just about every body type. 

5. Studded Sandals

The Sam & Libby Collection at target is pristine. 

Every sandal in the collection is just great. 

I have worn my sandals, just about every day of this month so far.

They are super comfy and go with every outfit. 

A must have for summer. 

6. Sixties Sunnies

The 60s Sunglass trend is coming back! 

I especially adore the classic look of these sunnies.

Forever 21 has such a wide selection of these shades too.

7. Chino Shorts

The J. Crew Chino Shorts will forever be my favorite pair of shorts.

They are not to short, not to long and there is so many colors of them.

They may be on the pricier side, but there are ways to find them discounted.  

The J.Crew Factory online, linked above has them on sale for $30 instead of $45.

I completely recommend these shorts to anyone and everyone. 

8. Rainbows

These are my everyday, all summer long flip flops.

I am not lying when I say, I wear these flip flops everywhere. 

They are incredibly comfortable and go with everything.

They are a little more expensive then your average flip flops, but in all honestly they are worth the money.

9. Rose Necklace

I cannot explain my love for this necklace. 

The color, the shape, everything.

This necklace is inspired from the J. Crew Rose Necklace that is very expensive, but very beautiful.

Well those are all my summer loves... for now. I am sure more summer loves will be on the way.

Sweet Summer Time

Summer time is officially here. And now that I am on summer break, I have tons of free time. On my list of goals for this summer, I decided I wanted to create a blog about fashion, beauty and my life.
