Staple Summer Sandals

             My summer style would not be complete without a pair of staple sandals! I have always had a thing for buying an unhealthy amount of sandals for the summer. There is constantly a new trend or style that takes over. I must admit I am getting a lot better at binge shopping and being more cautious on what is already in my closet!

Let's give a warm welcome to November. One of my favorite months of the year, simply because it truly starts getting cold in the south. September and October are just teases towards the cool winter air, but November the temperature drops and I love it unlike most southerners.

Crochet & Tassels

Hello friends,

I want to reflect on this past week...

This was a week of goodbyes. I said goodbye or a "see ya later" to many of my high school friends, which was quite hard. I finished my last week at work with the kiddos. I have become so attached to these kids over the summer and it was sad to see them go but I am excited for them as they all head on to first grade tomorrow. 

It is crazy to think that in just one week I will be heading off to college....where did the time go.

On Saturday, I sported this very comfy Boho look. All day long I received many compliments about my maxi cardigan. I purchased this perfect piece of clothing from TJ Maxx for the fall but I couldn't resist styling it this weekend for a summer look. I paired the cardigan with basic pieces, a cream tank and denim shorts. Oh and I shall not forget my LOVE for this necklace I made. I have noticed tassels necklaces are EVERYWHERE. They are the perfect accessory to any simple outfit, like mine. Making this necklace was very easy. I purchased the beads, string and tassel all from Michael's Craft Store.
